Press Release
The only thing hotter than the sweltering 100+ degree temperature last Saturday at round 1 of the SXS Nationals, was factory iShock driver Regis “Andy” Harrington aboard the number 188 Rhino. Andy decided to step up and enter the Open Pro Modified class with his Super Stock Rhino, which proved to put him in an interesting position by the nights end. Andy dominated the Super Stock class in practice which allowed him 1st pick for the gate, although he would never line up for that race. While qualifying in the Open Pro Mod class, Andy was taken out by a guy that admitted to being “just frustrated” because he couldn’t get by the #188 car, so he took him out at the white flag.
Although Andy did not make it to the gate for the Super Stock class, Andy finished 4th overall, just behind Dana Creech in the Open Pro Modified class while competing in his much under powered Super Stock Rhino. While Andy was happy to have done so well in the mod class, his mission is to take the super stock title, and will pursue that goal on August 14th for round 2.
Andy would like to thank iShock, Black Rhino Performance, Simpson Racing, ITP, One Industries, Motoworld of El Cajon, Custom Decal and HRT Motorsports for making his racing efforts possible.
